Preparing for your application

To qualify to become a recognized Business Advisor (SA) the following processes apply.

Professional Accountant (SA)
  • Professional Accountant (SA) in Good Standing
  • Update your personal, contact, qualification, and experience details on your MySAIPA profile
  • Complete the Registration Form
  • Upload a detailed CV which includes traceable references, evidence of a minimum of 18 months experience in Busines and Advising Experience
    Provide synopsis of experience related to the following categories indicating period over which the experience was gained:
    1. Advising on Starting Up Business
    2. Due Diligence on Companies
    3. Mentoring / Coaching Business Owners
    4. Advise on Mergers & Acquisitions
    5. Advising on Turnaround Strategies
  • Pay the Business Advisor (SA) designation fee amounting to R530.44 [Incl. VAT]
  • Proceed to the Terms & Conditions below to continue with the application
Non SAIPA Members

The application consists of the following sections and you will be required to upload supporting documents.

  • These documents all need to be certified and not older than 3 months
  • Ensure that the correct document is uploaded at the relevant section as failure to do so, will result in delaying the application process
  • The application cannot be submitted if any of the supporting documents have not been uploaded

Application status

You will be able to view the various stages throughout the application process which are linked to fees payable.

  • You will receive notification as soon as the application moves to the next stage
  • Invoices raised will be accessible on the Account tab in your MySAIPA online profile
  • Payment can be made on your MySAIPA profile
